I'm Emir Mahi,
I’m an audio designer with the goal of becoming an audio director!
I'm currently a core team member and audio producer of Remoob, a game studio founded by high school students who are the developers of the well-received indie title "Pile Up!".
My experience includes leading audio production and teams, using agile methodologies such as scrum, managing communities, coordinating meetings, setting a project's vision, documentation, and working in indie game titles such as Pile Up!, Clonizer, Ingression: Platforming with Portals, Lovux, Death Relives; and participating in many game jams!




Pile Up!
Pile Up! is a strategic building game which you need to build houses, fulfill your people’s requests and manage your risky buildings in different ways on a small land. But don’t let your guard down in this chill environment, we only get you relaxed so you destroy everything you did.
The game features vertical city building within a small area, chill and strategic gameplay with over +50 buildings in 7 types inspired by card games, 3 unique islands; campaign, sandbox and endless modes, and replayability with controlled randomness on every run.

Leading all the audio production of the game including composing music, designing sounds effects, designing dynamic music and audio systems in FMOD, working with a voice actor for introductory videos about the game.

Reached to more than 1.5 million total views on Youtube in the demo version of the game by preparing mailing lists and running the first email marketing campaign of the game by myself.

Using Scrum method integrated into Trello, ensuring timely updates and reduced hitches in the development process.

Achieved improved team collaboration and problem-solving by participating and arranging meetings, and documenting these meetings via note taking.

ÜNOG
ÜNOG is an game developers community and organization that has over 5,000 members and consists of producers who develop games and believe that sharing information is valuable.
We act with the mission of finding creative solutions to the problems faced by the industry and making positive impacts on the game development industry by working together. We believe that as independent developers we can make the games we create fun by remaining passionately committed to our craft; We value all other producers who share this passion.
As ÜNOG, we organize conferences, game jams and meet-ups, creating content and writing articles, which are non-profit, based on our vision.

Ensuring the team's alignment with the organization objectives by organizing and overseeing events through planning and arranging and coordinating meetings.

Fostering a collaborative environment to ensure that each volunteer group is on the right track and sharing the common vision, discuss ideas with these groups, and make sure that the organization is keeping up with the goals of the current 3-months period.


Play for Türkiye
Play for Türkiye is a community-driven initiative that unites game developers to drive social impact by supporting the earthquake victims in Türkiye.
One year ago, a devastating earthquake struck Türkiye and leveled multiple cities. More than 40,000 people have already perished in the destruction. The game development community of Türkiye couldn’t stay idle, so with some Turkish game industry professionals and volunteers like me, we decided to use the games' uniting power and raised funds for sustained earthquake victim relief and created social awareness in collaboration with Humble Bundle, Global Game Jam, Itch.io, Woman in Games.

Raised €3,419,366 for the people who are affected by the earthquakes via helping on the collaboration with Humble Bundle and Itch.io.

Led the audio production of cinematic videos that were shown in the Global Game Jam - Play for Türkiye and Syria 24 hours stream which was joined by game companies such as CD Projekt Red and Guerilla Games
via working collaboratively to plan the process with the creative director and work directly with the video editor on the production of cinematic videos and leading the audio production. -
Participated in the daily and weekly meeting to plan the process of setting the organization goals, setting up the relief bundles, contacting with NGO's, and contacting with studios and companies.

Worked on the production alongside with the game's developer to plan the development process, find innovative solutions within the studio's budget to solve current design problems, find new ideas to expand the game's campaign, find ways of improving the quality of the game and production, and manage business operations.
